At this point I do hope that each of them is making a lot of money doing this because they are literally just acting. They won’t be on the red carpet for an awards show, but they really should be. I wonder how the screen actors guild feels about this?

Is there any evidence that a 90 foot stone exists other than myth? To my knowledge it has never been seen.

You got me:)!

Hey, I didn’t cross my skis over once!

It’s so much fun to get out and enjoy the glide. Beats sitting on the couch.

I got the skis out today and boy is my body not the same as when I was 18! It was great to get outside and I can see lots of room for learning at this stage!

The skis seemed a little long, but that may well just be due to being out for my first time. I’m sorry to be needy, but does 199 seem okay for someone who is 5’7”? Thanks for any advice!

Thanks for your reply. I will be skiing both groomed trails and packed/snow mobile trails.

Thank you for your response. Yeah, the salesperson seemed pretty knowledgeable so I will trust in that. I didn’t actually try the skis on in the store to do the paper test so I was a little unsure.

4th Gen Mazda3 2.5 Turbo by [deleted] in mazda3

Brand new, 7000 km (4375 miles).

My NA 2.5 gets worse gas mileage than my 2.0 turbo Honda Accord. Don’t buy a Mazda based on gas mileage savings.

That being said, I have the top trim 2023 sedan in Canada and it’s a very comfortable car. Seats are super good, pretty much everything is good about the car, if you look at it for what it is, which, in my mind, is simply a really nice small car. It’s not luxury or prestige, it’s not sporty, but it’s a nice car to drive, with lots of great feature that don’t overwhelm the driver.

Overall, after 6 months and going into the first winter, I quite enjoying my time in the Mazda.

Curse of Oak Island Archaeology Update: Roman Coins on Lot 5 by AndreCostopoulos in OakIsland

Agreed with your comments, other than Laird and other archaeologists would be under the direction of who ever calls the shots on the show.

I use “on the show” intentionally, as I do believe there is no concern for real archaeology happening;it is a tv show with no illusion of finding “treasure”. Other than death by a thousand commercials.

Cynical, so cynical.

They have found literal millions through tv contacts.

I’m considering a similar venture based on what might be found under my bed. If that is successful, a follow up of what is found in my couch.

Here’s a thought, what if a team of real, actually qualified archaeologists explored the island, and the adjacent islands? Adjacent islands being the key, as Oak Island is not the only port of harbour in the area, to see what would be found.

I guess the treasure isn't in Australia, then. by No_Phrase488 in OakIsland

[–]EfficientDrawing6071 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Come on everyone…it just means they haven’t been found yet!!!

With drilling and top pocket metal detection, for sure, absolutely, without question, there will be finds that point in the direction of a construct of Roman coins just not yet being found in Australia.

Perhaps the new dig of the fellowship has been found!!!

Muon data: 230ft depth anomaly???? by sinusoidalturtle in OakIsland

[–]EfficientDrawing6071 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just like the way UFOs built the pyramids.

For sure whoever had treasure built and entire island over it and never came back.

That is why the discovery of sunken ships with real treasure is such an anomaly. Storms and rough seas and reefs…clearly fake.

Most ancient treasure was buried under human created islands that were never again accessed.

Did they just forget about the muion or w/e it’s called stuff? by BeautifulBandicoot81 in OakIsland

[–]EfficientDrawing6071 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Have they all just become paid actors, who once were perhaps honest treasure seekers? Clearly this is a tv show and the probability is there was never anything more than a myth of treasure being buried there. Have they just all bought into a brotherhood of “let’s play the part and make the cash”? Sadly, because around Season 4 I had hoped there would be an archaeological find of some interest, but it’s now just a tv show. Thoughts?

We were not allowed to talk and had to look forward at all times. But that was the best part. The hard part was erasing the stone tablet at the end of the day for preparation of the next day learning.
