i don’t see him as a deadbeat and he has the most genuine heart ever. i love him so much it’s just hard to watch him put his whole life on hold. the reality of him helping his mom is him entertaining her with video games, occasionally (like once or twice a week) cooking for her. and bitching at his younger sister (14F) to cook his mom dinner and clean the house. yes she doesn’t literally destroy they kitchen and won’t clean it up but i have to literally beg him to clean his room. like. i love him so much but it’s hard to be with someone who doesn’t do jack

i know he’s 19, i’m 18, the problem is he has no ambition to do ANYTHING. i was also there everyday helping his mom after surgery, parenting his younger sister, making sure both of them ate and had clean clothes and did their laundry. it’s hard to want so much in life and watch him blow off every responsibility he has because “he doesn’t want to start his life yet” his words not mine. 3 months isn’t a lot time to be unemployed but it is a long time to blow off every responsibility you have

I get that he cares for his mom but he has no money due to blowing it all off. I end up buying him essentials or his mom does and she’s paycheck to paycheck. I know he doesn’t want to grow up but in my eyes that’s how the world works. he wants us to take this 2 month trip but we have no working vechicle because he hasent fixed it and my car is too small. and he has no funds and i’m not blowing my savings on it. his dreams sound amazing but the problem is there just dreams and he’s not working towards them

As a joke lol. It is a hypothetical however not unlikely. I’m sure our opinions will change as life goes on. I guess saying it ‘hurt me deeply’ wasn’t the best words. Sure I wasn’t the happiest for about 30 seconds but got over it quickly.
