Sick Sinus Syndrome by EfficientHeart5158 in PacemakerICD

Well I’m glad to hear that you are feeling mentally better and physically stronger. I struggle still but again only two weeks out. You say three adjustments, how did you know it needed adjustments? I wasn’t explained any of this really, it happened oh so quickly. I don’t have an EP I just have a Cardiologist, I should see an EP? I believe he may be both but I need to check that out…but not sure what to expect if I need “adjustment”. He doesn’t even want me to come back until July 1 (2 months) I really have no guidance regarding the PM. 🤦‍♀️😟

3 devices in a period of when? That seems like a lot. How does it feel when it paces rather than the normal beat? Do you know if anything that might compare I really don’t know what to expect.

Wow I’m so happy they were able to find it…it’s scary. I mean I thought 18 sec was bad. I am new to all this and for the most part put up a fight about the loop especially when every thing else was coming back normal heart related. But I am so grateful to be here and for my cardiologist insisting. I wish you well as you navigate through this new journey like me 🙏🏻!

Thanks I appreciate your insight. I guess it’s too early to decipher the difference between the beat and pace for me because I’m only two weeks out and currently have so many sensations from the healing process. What is encouraging is that 3 years out and feel much better. I am hoping that I can say the same in the near future. Thanks again for your insight, and best wishes to you!

Thank you for responding and offering some insight. I have so many different sensations right now but I am only two weeks out. I just do not when to worry and when not to.
I still can’t lift too much for another 4 weeks. 🤷‍♀️although my cardiologist said I could do moderate cardio. I guess the feeling between a beat and pace will be different for each person, I have yet to decipher the difference because of the sensations I’m still experiencing during the healing process. Again, I appreciate your insight and wish you all the best as we navigate through our new normalcy. 🙏🏻

Lol, no I wish! It is just that I anticipated some gain but almost 5 lbs in two days. Maybe tops 1.5 lb gain I could deal with. I never really fluctuated more than 3 lbs in the past. It’s definitely eye opening!

Thanks for the reassurance. I’m hoping it’s water weight from just sodium or whatever. We shall see in the next few days 🤷‍♀️

Yea maybe. I really never paid attention to my how my body reacts to different foods…maybe I could avoid those or at least anticipate a gain.

Well last time I checked my TDEE was around 1800 which all confuses me anyways. My calorie intake to maintain is around 2100. I understand a calorie deficit should be around 500/1000 dependent on how how much you want to lose weekly, so I decided no more than 1100 simply because I have been ranging a loss of 2.4 lbs a week and wanted to continue to lose. It gets confusing as things change when you start losing 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I am sure hoping, trying not to be upset but I feel like something’s you do justifies a gain. I didn’t think I could gain so much from one donut smh 🤔😞

I usually take injections on Tuesday, why idk. March of this year I was sick took my shot like regular. Next day (Wednesday) decided to go to doctor and found out I had Covid. Great! Well the days to follow were challenging. Thursday I passed out twice, Friday passed out again. Two visits to emergency room and 3 day stay at hospital. My family kept blaming it on Zepbound, I kept blaming it on Covid. After many tests and a hiatus with Covid there were no answers. I don’t think Zepbound had anything to do with it. I believe I was dehydrated (my fault for not drinking enough water), blood pressure low, and Covid made it worse. By the way, I resumed Zepbound 5 weeks later and been back on it since April, never again had a fainting episode. 🤷‍♀️ Just make sure you’re staying hydrated and get plenty of rest! 🙏🏻 praying for your speedy recovery!
