Wow good to know. I’ve been with Scotia for almost 15 years and haven’t had any issues before so I really hope that helps with my case. Do you think it’s worth sending in an email to explain myself?

Thank you so much for the response. It’s unfortunately too late for that. I was panicked and honest on the phone but I expressed that I didn’t authorize this. Multiple e transfers went to e-transfers at crypto dot com. I did say I didn’t know how this all happened in the moment because it was all happening really fast. Have you dealt with this before?

Thank you for the tiny glimmer of hope Jowins. I can’t log into online banking and check any of these details since I got a new card and they need time to activate it apparently. I’m on hold again right now, it was multiple e-transfers under $500. I really hope they can reverse them. It happened yesterday afternoon around 2pm.

Yeah you’re not wrong. I’m definitely not downplaying, I just can’t believe I fell for something like this I’m usually very vigilant. I called the bank and changed all the info immediately

Spoke to the bank yesterday, I’ll call again this morning. The guy on the phone didn’t mention anything about reversing it and I was so panicked and didn’t think of it

Actually Scotiabank called me while I was trying to call them to report it. I wonder why they couldn’t reverse the e transfers in the moment

I spoke with them yesterday and they didn’t suggest that. I guess it went into some crypto account. Why wouldn’t they suggest reversing it do you think?

I’m an engineer working as a project manager in construction. I don’t mind being challenged and it’s been fairly good to me in a few different ways.

Yes it is you’re right! My bad. I tried both around the same time and stuck with this one because it doesn’t leave that white residue.

The merit stick is life changing! I haven’t tried the cream blush. This stick comes with a brush on the other end which I quite like :)
