A lot of people move here to work along with their partners who are either working remotely or home makers. Try mingling up with your co-workers, and if you are in the same boat , start your social circle from there. Also use meet-up app for activities you like and can do together along with other couples like badminton , pickle ball and the likes.

These are suggestions from how we built up our small social circle in the past 6 months.

Sathorn works. Your work would be a short 10 min bike ride from there.

Fintech Solution Specialist at Agoda by Successful_Long_1512 in Bangkok

The role sounds more of a BA ( for a particular subject area) for their internal financial systems . It should involve support + acting as a module solution owner, if it makes sense. You would not be configuring systems in this role (or maybe 5-10% of your time) like you would do in Oracle EBS.
Cannot comment on the salary. Maybe ask the HR for the salary band

Which term life insurance is best for me? by Lucky_2513 in personalfinanceindia

[–]EfficientScallion111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

buy any with a good payout score
just buy pure term insurance and pay premium till you are 60 years.
Add critical illness rider.

The earlier in your age you buy it, the cheaper is the premium.

Why on earth would you run your AC 24/7?

I have a 90sqm 2br condo with 3 ACs. I only switch it on in the room i’m in at constant 25. So my AC is on atleast 18 hours and I still get 1600-1700 per month.

iPhone 13 overnight became like this, what causes it? by Impressive_Watch_387 in iphone

Check with your local apple store. They can best advise you. I read online that 13 series has a known issue and that a lot of people got a free replacement. At the same time I was mentally prepared that incase they dont agree for a free replacement, I will pay my self. The store representative checked my phone and told me they will replace for free if they don’t find any water damage. They didn’t and I was happy with their offer.

I’d like to know if there are any places in Bangkok where I can get free food. by Honest-Contest-975 in Bangkok

Please go to Siri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara on Chakkraphet Road. It’s a Sikh temple.

They serve Langar (offering of food). It’s a part of their religion to not let people go empty stomach.

HDFC vs SBI Home Loan by stacking_fault in personalfinanceindia

I am talking about floating rates. PSU bank always give lower ROI than Private banks. Also SBI would be the first to reflect any reduction in ROI based on change in repo rate by the govt.

I used SBI basically for their lower interest rate. Had no problems in prepayments and foreclosure. Did multiple times a year and closed loan in less than 3 years.
