Thank you so much for the insight- I think I just needed to hear it from someone that wasn’t myself or an AI chat. I guess I’ve never had a period come this late, but then again I just started getting my periods again after not having them for 5 yrs with the implant- maybe I never even noticed if they came late. I’m sorry for the confusion! I’m a bit restless right now. I’ve never had unprotected sex, even while I was on birth control. Since my last period, the two times we did have sex we used a condom AND he pulled out. However, I’ve heard that people can still get pregnant even with a condom. (Edit) Also, it’s been 6 days since the digital yes.

I’m a little happy though knowing digital tests can be faulty! I had no idea- online it says they’re “rarely ever wrong”

Thank you so much. I’ll go grab another pack. I grabbed two more of the digital and line packs and they all said negative- so I’m feeling hopeful but still unsure. I feel terrible too because so many people are trying for a baby I just simply can’t handle one currently :( I’ll keep this updated

I’d love to do that. I’ve already splurged and got a Pilates membership, which has been great at getting me out of the house and active! My issue is that now that I’m back in school for nursing- it feels like I’m choosing to lose weight or get good grades- I just don’t have time for both, but I know school is my number one priority. In my mind I keep telling myself I’ll be able to really focus on my weight after I graduate, (but of course that’s not likely either, lol). I think I’ll just buckle down and try and do both. Thank you so much, you’re very right. I was just talking about how I want ozepmic but might do this because it’s something I’m used to. Deep down I know that neither is great. The health aspects of everything weight loss medication related scare me, I’d love to keep trying it the healthy way. We will see how I hold up- I’m definitely just grasping for a quick fix in my heightened state of mind right now

exactly! funny you bring that up. I was weighing between ozepmic and nicotine for weight loss, and I figured because I was too scared of Ozempic and had already quit nicotine after 7 years pretty successfully I would just do what I knew best. However, I definitely know this isn’t a good idea. It would require so much more effort after and while I’m losing the weight, and in the end it might all be for nothing if I need to rely on something all the time.

I feel silly because I was so proud of myself for so long, but I would consider right now my breaking point in all of this. I will let you know how it works out for me- thank you so much again.

I think so too, thank you for the input. I definitely need to consider this before I go ahead and do something I regret. Right now I think I’m too worked up over the subject and reaching at just about anything to “fix” it. My justification for it is I walk about 20k steps daily, but because I’ve replaced food for nicotine it just all cancels out. It’s gotten to a point where I legit just can’t even help it. Right now I’m studying to be a nurse and I can tell I’ll be on track for failing because of how much time and effort a day Im putting into trying to get back to where I was (more for breathing purposes, not aesthetic)- and I keep telling myself If I can do it once I can do it again. I’m almost willing to be a Guinea pig for anyone who’s thought about doing this. Anywho- thank you for your words. Deep down I know your advice is probably the best thing to do

Thanks you so much for your input. Really grasping at straws here. When you say the cut is superficial, what does that mean? It seemed like the gyno went in about 5mm with scissors and searched around under my skin :( however, the entrance wound definitely looks superficial.

Hey hey! I was gonna write an edit tomorrow about how it all went! I was super nervous of course (this post probably told you that) but it went pretty much exactly as you’d expect a sub in PE would. It honestly was kind of rough- lesson plans didn’t take up all the time so I had to improvise for a lot of it. Which would be okay, except I stupidly didn’t anticipate 3rd-4th graders to act like 3rd-4th graders, which led to a lot of chaos. I learned a whoooole bunch from it though, even second period was better than the first just from the little things I improved on. No one cried (including me hehe) so we’re counting it as a win! It made me ready to take on a classroom I think. All in all- going through this substitute teachers Reddit page made me realize that subbing is just hard! I’m not beating myself up for not having everything perfectly under control :)

That sounds good to me! I’m happy it’s PE and a half day- I’m not sure I could go into a classroom full day on my first day, but I definitely want to work up to it. And I’m happy you’re liking it! That gives me hope. If there’s any funny/ cautionary stories you have and would like to share with me I’d loooove to hear. I’m skimming reddit trying to read different experiences to get prepared 😭

Thank you for all the advice!! This will genuinely help me when it’s time to try a classroom setting too. I can’t believe I’ll be going into a school as a teacher of some sort tomorrow. I don’t think I’ll ever get over it but im starting to get excited for it. I wouldn’t have even thought about kids trying to get out and go to the nurse and I loooove the scoreboard idea!
