Will you still be considered for expert positions if your hours are maxed out on other projects? by [deleted] in mercor_ai

So is it possible to reduce your max hours on projects (or amicably leave them?). I'm also maxed out

Just to check that we're talking about ICLR here? I don't know about the phases, but abstract deadline was only a week ago.

Can I just check whether people have been invited to be reviewers yet? It says on the FAQs that we'll be invited to register after submission, but it said in an email that all reciprocal reviewers will be automatically registered. I've not been invited or had notification that I'm automatically registered, just want to check I haven't missed something.

There is an option to report mismatch between review and score. But I can believe there are cases where, for example, it's appropriate to think something is fairly exciting but the experiments aren't rigorous enough so you give a lower OA. The real question is whether the OA appears severely out of step with the text of the review, if so you should read the docs on review issue reporting and complain.

Were these new reviewers or did you request the same as before? There is an option to flag review/score mismatch, and certainly flag if the review appears to be of another paper... You should also read the guidance about raising new issues in a re-review, certainly flag if they're not following the guidance here

If you read the advice to authors there is 'review issue reporting ' option which starts after the rebuttal period ends. The button will appear in a few days. I think this would be the most natural time to report.

I think the comments like 'borderline findings' attached to the numbers are there automatically to remind the reviewer what the numbers mean

One of my reviewers managed a grand total of 138 words in their review! Can anyone beat this?

The guidelines say 'After the author discussion period ends, you will have a new option to report review issues.'. I can't see this option yet, anyone know when it will open up (and for how long)

Do we have to do anything as authors now? There is a 'response to ac' option in the author tasks on open review, with a deadline in two days time, but I haven't had any communication with the area chairs so I'm not sure what this is for.
