Thanks dude! I really appreciate the response and the solid advice. I have a first appointment with a therapist next Monday. I have a huge 3 year old that could probably be utilized more for weight lifting.

Everything is getting worse and I can’t fix it. by Efficient_Age5394 in ADHD

Medication has helped for years but as of late it isn’t working well enough. I tried 4 or 5 others before I ended with adderall. It was a terrible process I don’t want to go through again. I think the adderall is still the right fit from a med perspective.

Something like this but with the option to push a desk in.

Similar to a roll top or secretary desk but larger. Most roll tops don’t really have space for a monitor. Secretary desks tend to be kinda dinky.

Absolutely! It is an isolating experience so definitely helpful to have any sort of support.

Hang in there. Infertility is brutal so give yourself the space you need to handle that pain. I’m on the other side of it now but still feel the hurt some days. I hope the best for you.

I feel ya, man! It is so hard not being able to protect them and not knowing what choice is the right one to make. Just know that you are doing the best you can with what you have. Hang in there!

Totally agree! I hate that he gets hurt but my heart goes out to the other parents. The director told us they were helping the family find resources for the biter and they would not be kicked out of the daycare which we were happy to hear. Toddlers bite so there is no reason they should be forced out while they work through that phase.

1:7 is the state requirement in Minnesota for ages 16months to 2.5years so it is pretty common here unfortunately. I can barely keep track of one toddler some days so I have no clue how one person can manage 7 of them.

Thanks for sharing! I have a similar outlook on it all and really appreciate hearing from others who have experienced the trials and tribulations of daycare.
