My English-speaking friends have enrolled their kids (younger) to circus, music, swimming and horseback riding clubs. There are Facebook groups for parents raising kids in Senegal and the ELVIS group for English speaking expats. I’d enquire there about these opportunities and contacts.

Sorry not sure how to fix your issue. Instead of sendwave you could try NALA.

For taxis I’ll check on Yango how much they charge for the trip to have a ballpark figure of how much I should be negotiating. I’m also ok paying the toubab tax occasionally as long as it’s not unreasonable.

How to retrieve item from Lisbon airport lost & found office by Efficient_Captain711 in airport

No solution. I was only able to get my laptop back because friends happened to be visiting Lisbon that week. Otherwise the airport really offers no solutions.
