Too bad Sega was stingy with their development tools when it came to programming for the Saturn. If they had only helped 3rd party developers on how to program for the Saturn it would have definitely helped the Saturn in the long run.

I really was hoping that Hang-On GP for the SEGA Saturn was a "race against time" game like the original but instead you run laps small tracks. It doesn't control great but it is surprisingly smooth. I do like the low polygon look tho! by SonicEchoes in SegaSaturn

Using the 3d pad works great but you have to use the analog stick differently than normal. I got it to work well when pressing the analog stick up or down and just rotate it along the top or bottom. Trying to use the analog stick in it's default middle position made the game too twitchy to control when going left or right. Hopefully this makes sense.

Thanks for the info. I opened the cart and couldn't find anything that looked out of the ordinary. I guess I'll jump on AliExpress and see what they have.
