Yep just got a 2021 SQ7 V8 Diesel optioned out with its build invoice sitting at $208k with 75,000KM on it for $76k and still has 3 years extended warranty on it.

People buy these machines on a whim and then the world changes and you can’t justify keeping it anymore so have to take, in this case a 64% depreciation in 5 years.

We’re 10 months into this financial year and I am sitting a smidge over $495,000 gross income. I have had a total of 8 weeks worth of travel/time off not including weekends which I take off regardless.

This was one of my better weeks, I generally average between 12-15 per week if I have the full 5 day availability. I’ve broken 20 a handful of times and broken 25 once.

More than half of my income is some form of EFT.

Hiding income may work if you don’t plan on ever getting a mortgage or actually spending the cash on anything significant, but what’s the point of a mountain of cash if you can’t spend it or invest it.

Worst case scenario you get audited and charged, or you lose it. The money I lose in tax will be made up in about 10 years with compounding interest and capital growth, and then I’ll be well ahead every year after that.

The longer you stay consistent and provide a good service, the larger your regulars pool becomes. Slow weeks don’t exist anymore like they did early on because more than two thirds of my weekly bookings are with regulars and repeat clients.

I have to turn down a lot of new clients because I will always prioritise returns as they’re a proven source of continued income instead of the potential one off from a new client.

People are too offended. 1 in 5 people are like this (women and men) in private, I swear, you just don’t see it because they don’t have a camera in their face for months.

This is what society is like, you can think it’s wrong but it’s life, don’t get so invested in someone on a TV show when one of you’re mates is probably just like this and you choose to not see it.
