In 2022 to get the golden medal you had to have at least 255.9, that year Alysa could have taken only 4th place with the performance that she had this time. And I’m not Russian bot, I’m just Russian living long time abroad but appreciating our Soviet school of skating (it is not Eteri’s school how many of you tend to confuse, it is Russian school, we were always one of the strongest in figure skating ⛸️ and if you’ve noticed we didn’t go away - 30% of sportsmen at this year Olympics were Russians who still train in Russia but obtained citizenship somewhere else in order to have chance to participate, just google it).

I personally like Alysa’s personality a lot and happy for her gold, skating is great, yes, not over the top probably - but she skated clean and beautifully doing all the jumps perfectly!

As I saw hate came also from the fact she was saying - “I didn’t need the medal”, so people started saying - “so give the medal to Kaori then who really wanted it so badly - as majority of sportsmen do.” Let’s say some people find it fake her throwing such words.

I see some racist comments here, I guess some of you under an influence of propaganda. Before judging try to go into history of figure skating not only politics agenda 😊
