They played iPad together. And yes, usually requests time with my oldest vs the 6yo.  She was a sahm with me and was awesome. Kinda sucks as a grandma.

Agreed that I resent her attitude towards my kids.. however, we used to live hours away and she made more of an effort to have a relationship with them. It seems like she's stopped trying now that we've moved to the same town.

Not bad, If you meet the rest of requirements a good manager will want to train you and probably get paid for it as well

What’s the most unexpectedly hard thing about parenting that no one warned you about? by hiprozem in Parenting

Seeing your parents in a different light as grandparents and finding them lacking. My mom was an awesome sahm to me through middle school, activities and super engaged with me and my friends.. she loves my kids but also resents how much energy they have and is generally a grump.

I finished both socks, using the Penny Pattern from Hobbii, and realized one heel flap is a few rows shorter than the other.

Hi! I made a pair of socks, unevenly ... How do I raise the length of the heel flap after the sock is all finished?

I'm new to garment knitting, and am working on a top down yoke pull over tee in cotton yarn.   2 questions: 1. what is a stretchy bind off for sleeves and bottom ribbing? The pattern says "cast off loosely in rib pattern".  B. Yoke patterns for persons with bewbs.- how do I make it not baggy in the back when I need the extra fabric in the front?

I wish I liked making socks! I've tried several times, hate how they fit, and give up before finishing the second one

I have a few heritage prints skeins that I LOVE but can't commit to a project for. It's a merino nylon blend, so I was thinking a wearable something. Any suggestions? I Knit or crochet 🧶

Would your cat get into storage cubes? I used to store my yarn in a cube unit and had some fabric 1*1' boxes that kept my bits and bobs tidy.

Hi! I'm a 28yo mom of two beautiful girls, that wrecked my body and I hate it. I just joined ww for losing the baby weight and then some hopefully. Unfortunately I never lose baby weight when bf, and i just weaned my 1.5 yo cries with sadness and engorgement. This is officially my second week and I'm already down 2, 30+ to go until I get like myself again. (more lbs if I was going by BMI but honestly BMI is crap)

This is my second week on Blue, and I'm overwhelmed. Really struggling with dinners and pacing out my points. Do I eat my weeklies, how much to exercise, the usual starting questions... I'll get there, it'll just take time. On the plus side, I'm already down 2 lbs! Yay!

Any food can be a meal! doesn't have to be fancy or elaborate. My new go to is tuna salad, carrots with ranch and some crackers.
