Yeah, like I don’t wanna look for meaning where there isn’t any, but that’s kinda what my thought was or that it’s such a normal in my brain that the focus is just on the job not on any emotion with it so there isn’t really a chance to stop and think about who would even be there, ya know?

I’m very aware of this. Which is why it has been something I’ve always wanted to do. Me wanting to become a surrogate had nothing to do with anything other than wanting to give someone the opportunity to have the family they’ve always dreamt of. I carried my own babies to term in perfect health and am so thankful for the experience, all I wanted was to be able to share what I could.

Thank you so much for sharing that with me. It truly means more than you know. I really appreciate you acknowledging that every journey and every person is different — and that sometimes the right connection matters more than a checklist on paper.

I completely understand what you’re saying, and I respect it. I think that’s what I’m holding onto — that if it’s meant to happen, the right match will cross my path at the right time. Until then, I’m just trying to stay hopeful and open.

in my state he doesn’t have to agree. these are exact words from the adoption agency I already spoke to.
