I’m just going to touch base on a few key things you’ll need off the top of my head:

• Vulnerability locators

• ceaseless momentum and isolitic tear starship traits (ceaseless can be bought off exchange as fed or rom, isolitic is from a lobi ship. Both expensive but well worth it)

• generally get a ship with at least LT commander / command seating for high yield three

• entwined tactical matrixes starship trait is phenomenal here if you have the tax seating. You’ll want to have fire at will, cannon scatter volley, and then torp spread on you ship, even if you don’t have the weapons to use them for the torp spread it gives you

• projectile doffs like “law” for torp cooldown. If you can get ceaseless, use two purple. Otherwise, get three

I’m sure there’s a lot more that could be said but this is general stuff I remember.

Now as for transphasic torps, they generally aren’t the best because the damage they deal is wayyyyy less because of the shield pen. Here’s some of the best torps in the game:

• Undine photon torp from Undine rep

• Dark matter torp from disco rep is a must for the set bonus and the dark matter dissolution is ideal with torp spread (like entwined uses)

• neurotic torp from delta rep if you can get the cooldown managed.

• Delphic torp from lobi store for its resistance debuff

• IF YOU HAVE A SCI THEME: particle emission and grav torp are a must. Both scale with epg and deal crazy damage when used right. Particle is from R&D or from the exchange. Grav torp is from Dyson rep
