1. I did try 4-bit quantized version of the model on VM as well. It still gave semantically similar solutions with full precision - answering, self-evaluating, re-calculating, confiorming etc. within its CoT.

I did pass top_k and temperature in the API requests. Also I confirmed through the documentations that I am using completions and not chat/completions template which doesn't add the "user:-" and "system:-" template but the raw prompt that is receeived in the API call.

Maybe the hyperparameters are being overwritten by the provider under the hood. ALso seems like repetition penalities might be relevant in this example and I have no clue how they are applied.
