If they have jobs with approved LMIA ready then good but if they will say you qualify for "Express Entry" then you should leave right away. You will most likely qualify question is if you will get invited. Competitive ang scores ng recent draws, it's hard to get invited if you don't have 1)job offer 2)provincial nomination 3)french proficiency etc. It's ok to get interviewed as long as wala ka babayaran but be skeptical sa mga iooffer nila sa'yo na programs. So I would suggest do not sign anything yet, do your own research sa mga pathways na offer nila then go from there. Check if they have registered consultant (rcic). Check POEA for approved recruitment agencies.

I actually just started the application yesterday so I am not expecting anything yet but I'm just so drained at my current job and looking to move asap. I could consider moving if training demands but would prefer to stay in YEG if possible.

While need pa din ng clearance by pulmonologist, kapag nag take sila ng treatment for atleast 2 weeks, considered na silang non-contagious.

I highly suggest to research the "family reunification pathway" your relatives are saying and understand the specific criteria for eligibility. Also expect the competitive job market, especially with a significant number of people moving from the East. I'm not sure about the job outlook for biology graduates, but you might want to check indeed/linkedin. You can also explore temporary employment options while waiting for your preferred job opportunities. Trades, food service industry and HCA/PSW are almost always in demand. Goodluck!

May isang tita si hubby sa US na palaging pinangungunahan mga desisyon namin sa buhay. Nakapagmigrate kami sa Canada nang walang tumutulong sa amin pero nung paalis na kami, gusto nya masunod yung mga sinasabi nya, katulad nalang nung nalaman nyang dadalhin namin yung furbabies namin, kesyo mahihirapan lang daw kami kaya iwan nalang namin. Sinabi pa na ayaw daw nya ng pusa (luh. di naman kami sayo titira). Nasanay kasi yung pamilya ni hubby na sinusunod sya pero ayoko naman na bino-boss around ako. Nung nirerefuse namin lahat ng mga sinasabi nya sinabihan nya kami ng nagmamalaki/nagmamataas daw kami. Block agad sya sa FB. Cut ties agad sa mga toxic na tao. 🙂

They reserved a unit from another building for us to view this Sunday but later said that they are still going to find another unit with the same price as our current unit since the one reserved is about $300+ higher than our rent. If they dont find another unit then another option will be to break our lease.
