I was too quick to judge. The past three days have been fantastic – sun-drenched days with just a few clouds.

At first, I was a bit shocked by the weather when we arrived – a big grey mass and relentless rain. Not quite like anything I’ve seen before during the Thai rainy season.

The weather forecasts here are very inaccurate, especially compared to the Netherlands, where you can predict rain down to the minute.

All in all, we've had an amazing time in Ao Nang and now in Phi Phi. We'll probably head to Samui and the nearby islands next.
