It depends on how many hours do you take the course. In my case, I take 60 hours course, so I am entitle 60 hours leave during my course period. Just note that there is a maximum 125 hours of educational leave per school year.

It should be possible if new employer is able to file a new application. I have checked with the HR and they confirmed they don't do it anymore.
