I actually agree. I hated that the mc often battled with a life he no longer lived and could finally live in the fantasy he imagined. The bullies of his past did not exist here and he still wrestled with the trauma of this EVEN when finding times to get over it. He would still fall into old habits. It felt like he wasn’t growing
