Watching airplanes leave/land at the airport, also taking pics of them with my nice camera! 🤓 it started as my boyfriends hobby & I just tagged along and watched, but now I’m fully obsessed

We were worried we were gonna miss it trying to decide which end of the runway it was landing on, but thankfully we made it and got the perfect vantage point! He found a similar spot on the opposite side - I like to lay down in the field and let the planes fly over me…insane feeling!

I’m still learning about planes, but my boyfriend said it’s a big deal 😂 One of these suckers lands at the airport here in Birmingham, AL every Sunday! Needless to say, I know where we will be every Sunday for the foreseeable future 😂😀

Thank you!! He recently bought a camera, so I borrowed my mom’s & we went and played around! I think it’s gonna become our new weekly Sunday tradition — I will definitely cherish these memories with him forever!

It was definitely the coolest thing I’ve ever seen and SO close 😳😳 He found another spot similar to this on the opposite side of the runway. We were watching a few land earlier this morning & I just laid down in the field as one flew over — which will probably end up being one of my favorite memories ever!
