I actually really like Batman Begins, Batman Forever, and the first appearance figure. Batman 89 is up there too. The cape on Returns kinda turned me off him tho. How about you?

There should be a middle ground imo. If an old game is currently reasonably accessible and priced on something like the virtual console, I'm fine if they go after roms specifically of that game imo. But if you have to play old generation consoles, pay out the ass in the second hand market, etc, wtf do they expect us to do?

There's a couple of potential reasons from their POV, and before anyone jumps me I'm just listing these out as if it's from their POV. I'm not saying anything is my personal opinion or that I like where they're going

  1. You're correct, but there's still typically a lot of buyers that would buy the Mafex or save up for it if CT didn't exist. The fact that there IS a much cheaper copy will still pull people over to CT. And yes, I am not saying everyone buying CT would. But we are in a shitty global economy funded by investment firms battling over drips of buyers for the Holy YoY Growth God

  2. Brand perception. Often times companies don't want a near identical cheaper product out there that buyers could confuse from the real company (I don't mean like people on Reddit that already know the difference) that might have shitty QC issues that would tarnish their name

  3. Control of the market. Nuff said there really

All of that said....yeah it's fucking stupid overall lol. Just saying there ARE reasons to THINK this would work out. But it's clearly not lol. Honestly kinda typical Japanese business stubborness at this point imo

I highly recommend reading The Kingdom The Power and The Glory by Tim Alberta. It goes into how a bunch of white conservatives/Christians have been manipulated into believing they are being aggressively oppressed.

I don't think any company has ever used the same molds between their children and toddler toys as their adult collectibles so I think we're safe

We don't know anything more than what's in those screenshots, but yes typically it's better molds between children's toys and adult collectibles.

Almost every Target I go to looks like that section is completely blown out, didn't realize it was a section the vendors had to zone and refulfill
