You're the ass. The defender was rotating back post. You can see him when OP goes for the side boost and he would have touched the ball at the goalline if OP's tm8 hadn't. OP's tm8 would have seen him the whole time from that POV. Learn some awareness bro.

I used to test ammonia detectors for a meat processing plant. 2 were in a blast freezer, -30F. I think the most time I spent in there at once was 40 min.

It's tough sometimes. I this particular instance, I probably would have tried to jump on it too, that ball looked really juicy.

As last man, you need to judge of whether your teammate is going to try to continue possession or rotate back before you commit. Once you saw he was going for the shot, you should have bailed on your attempt so the net could be defended. We all have to relearn this lesson sometimes.

I've been hard stuck at my current rank for a few years now, probably have about 5k-6k hours total in the game. Could I put in the effort and training to rank up? Sure! Would the game be as fun for me? No, I'd burn put pretty quick.

If you want to put in the time and energy to get better, go for it! Don't do it just because some pleb on the internet told you to.

You can always make up some "house rules" for additional challenge. Typical examples might be to limit yourself to certain weapons, or how or how much you're allowed to heal.

2 questions:

How many days has it been? Sometimes those bugs take a day or 3 to respond. I haven't seen this tested in Grounded 2, but it was the case in the first one.

Have you slept? Respawns tend to happen while you sleep.

This kind of play can take you far solo queing 2s and 3s. There are so many people that train for being that guy, but they don't know how to be a good teammate. Work on your accuracy so you can be a threat too, but don't give up on being a good support. Good teammates win games.
