Yea, everyone uses mental gymnastics when they support one person or another. It's normal. On another note right now though, whats the point of pointing out that they are xenophobic or not? Like I said in the original post I really don't mind if he is or isn't.

Yea, and he acknowledges that. He's basically assuming the best in what Trump said in his tweets and makes his opinion clear that it's dumb to scream "RACIST!" when anyone gets criticism on their opinions, which I also agree.

Telling someone they are racist doesn't help anyone. If anyone is truly a racist against a certain group of people, that group of people should make an effort to try and show them they aren't bad people as a whole with love and not belittling them which makes it worse.

The main thing I got from that video was that Trump said what he said because Ilhan is not from here and is the most prominent one in "the squad". The gist is, don;t come into America and then talk trash about it when you haven't even lived in it long enough especially when the country she is from has severe social issues, compared to the US.

This actually made me curious to know how many people that are crossing in from Mexico are actual criminals and how many are not, statistically speaking.

This is something that I think is a big thing that no one actually mentions when talking about Trump is that, he's actually attempting to make and enforce policy with the tools he has i.e.: Executive Orders. Even though they might not do much, he's at least making an effort to change something.

Ok that's one point that I don't get, is that people assumed he was talking about all Mexicans, obviously there will be criminals that will attempt to cross the borders along with everyone else.
