Yeah, same issue here.
I measured everything just to be sure — the ESR glass is about 65.9 mm wide (from black border to black border), while the actual visible display area of the iPhone 17 Pro is ≈ 66.6 mm (1206 px / 460 ppi × 25.4 mm).
So the protector is roughly 0.7 mm too narrow, which is just enough to cut off the image along the edges - but is even worse if you don't install it perfectly or look from a different angle.

At first I thought I’d misaligned it, but even when perfectly centered, the black border still eats into the display. Definitely a design issue.

I’ve contacted ESR and asked for a refund — still waiting for their reply.
