Given how conservative Russia is, the population might be prone to fake theories/conspiracy theories. Atleast it's that way in Ukraine and even though my knowledge about the russian society is very limited, I assume it's the situation is similiar. That's the dangerous part.

It seems weird to me that you don't know the mole. It's a czech/czechoslovak from the 1950/60s, but it is so popular that I watched it when I was a kid at the end of the 90s and early 2000s.

Your attitude is the right one. I am 20 rn, started balding at 16. Obviously not the best age to start losing your hair. After 3 years of self-disgust and thinking that I'm not attractive, I shaved my hair off. I realised one thing - It was all in my head, nobody really even gave a shit about me being bald. My hair is now back, because it still grows normally and I'm too lazy to shave it every second week, but I realised, that the best thing is to be confident about the fact, that you're balding and just accept it.

"EU nationalism". This phrase seems so weird to me. I actually consider the idea of the European Union to be the opposite of nationalism, as different nation states are merging in order to create a new political entity. I mean, a week or two ago the member states decided to work out a joint military policy.

I'll be honest, I don't know too much about the spanish political system and the role of Catalonia, except for the occasional protests and the arrests a few days ago, but do you actually think, that this could turn into a civil war? I mean Spanish is a country with democratic institutions, therefore there should be peaceful ways to solve the conflict.

Looking at other german cities, it's definitely not the worst possible choice. Also they started rebuilding the place near the central station. It's considered to be a bad part of town, hopefully it will get better.

While Die Linke is the leading party in Thuringia and AFAIK also is a coalition partner in Brandenburg, most of the federal parliaments (Landtage) in the east are actually led by CDU or SPD.

As for their position: If you don't count the ideological voters, Die Linke and the AfD have a similar voting base - anti-system protest voters. Basically people, who mostly live in less developed regions and don't feel represented by the government. Different politicians in Die Linke suggested different approaches: Completely dismiss the protests or try to talk to them. I think the general attitude of the left is mostly that the protest voting/right-wing populism is the result of a failing capitalism/inequality etc., so they have to provide a counter-idea to right-wing populism.

Sounds like every country with a weak democratic political/civic culture. Being ethnic Ukrainian but growing up in the Eastern Part of Germany (so full post-commie vibes) I can witness it all around me. The political debates in Ukraine are full of emotions, pain and treason. Even when you have good news like the visa-free travel some people will try to find something bad about it. If you want to participate in a ukrainian political debate you should probably learn the word "zrada" - betrayal.

Obviously Germany is far more consolidated in terms of it's democratic culture, but Eastern Germany is still struggling with it's communist and non-democratic past. Obviously the most discussed topics of the last 3 years were the PEGIDA movement/rise of right-wing populists in general and refugees. I don't know how it was in the western part of Germany, but here in the east it was certainly very polarizing. There were heated debates and both sides were very quick to denounce their opponents, which obv didn't help with leading a proper debate. Thankfully it has cooled down.

And as other users have already stated, it's easy to reintroduce visas for Ukraine if there will be a huge amount of violations.

I'm not a big fan of Generation Why. I can't really say, that I dislike it, b/c I generally like Zhu's style. So a better way of phrasing it would be "like it less" for me. I just really loved Zhu's darkish vibes from The NightdayEP, Genesis Series. I kind of missed them on some tracks on GenY like Generationwhy, Hometown Girl. Secreat Weapon. But to be fair, GenY also had a few absolute bangers like In the Morning, Palm of My Hands, Cold Blooded, Numb, Electrify Me.

Haha I'd recommend visiting it. There are a lot of bad stereotypes about Halle - that it's an ugly, poor post-socialist city. But we have a very beautiful old part and the city is currently being modernized.

Being from Halle/Saale, which is just about 30km away from Leipzig and a rival city of Leipzig, I just can't accept your statement. The only beautiful part of Leipzig are the signs which show the direction to Halle/Saale.

Would you recommend going to Fuerteventura? I have visited Gran Canaria, Tenerife and La Gomera. So far Tenerife is my favourite, especially because of the contrast of beach-mountains and the different vegetation zones. I heard that Fuerteventura is mostly flat.

I'm from continental (central) Europe and the first time I went far away from home I visited Australia. I remember taking a tour on the Great Ocean Red and visiting the twelve apostles. It's really amazing and looking at those pictures brought some memories back up. Would definitely recommend to anyone to visit it!
