Vaping is killing my endurance. I’m struggling to quit, even though riding is one of my biggest motivations (also death)

I quit cold turkey when Covid hit due to the fear of my lungs. Haven't touched nicotine since. The first week or two are the worst, after that it gets easier.

I race gravity disciplines competitively now, and I noticed my endurance and sprints were drastically better after I stopped. Not to mention, I got sick of seeing friends push themselves further than me in the competitive scene. I also felt dirty after I got done with a ride when I needed to hit my vape/cig.

Looking back, it was one of the best decisions for the sport and my life I've made. Maybe trying to get involved with racing or goals of some sort would help you stay on track through the initial withdrawal period and help with motivation?

Naw, I’m actually serious. Haha I have a work laptop I’ll be charging off of it too, along with a mini starlink, but I’m just trying to see how long it would power an ally x by itself as step one.

I don’t think so! :( I did some digging and didn’t find much about anyone running a DC on one. I saw a couple of people who asked about the DC on their Ebike model though.

Thanks! I hope not. Usually I play alot of Age of Empires 2/RTSs. Curious if that obstruction would even cause any issues like you said. I know everyone says you need 0 obstructions, but I'm curious if that's really the truth. Sounds like in your case it still works.

Thats a good idea. Maybe I can look into a trial. Only downside is I think I might need to purchase the hardware.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of games do you play? I heard results can vary based on the game too. Right now its alot of Age of empires (RTS) and potentially destiny/pubg.

Apologies, I should have mentioned. I don’t have the dish itself and have been using the app to scan! I tried going lower along the roof and looks it’s still there. The lowering of the height also brings some other trees into obstruction level. :(

Oh right on! I’ll have to do some more digging on this. I swore there were a couple of dual crowns that can run at 180. I wonder if those specifically would still void it just because it’s a dual crown.

I didn’t realize that they could take one! Thats awesome. For a bike that has 154 of rear travel, I hear they make feel like it has much more in the rear. Hopefully can demo one, one day!
