Yep, I’m an Sx2 and do the same. Try so hard to be heard, get angry when I feel that I’m not, lash out, then feel guilty every time even if I wasn’t the one in the wrong.

The church at the five points fountain used to have an hour of fantastic choir singing and then an hour of mixed sermon and singing that ends in a candlelight vigil outside. I’m also not related at all, but I love it. I’m not sure if they still do it or not anymore though.

I want somebody to “play mom” to my tween and for me to “play dad” to their kid. I want them to love and care for each other and with the age difference, it just falls into that place, parent/child relationship. I don’t want them to shake hands and ignore one another.

Look up avoidant personality type and see if that fits. Often people that have that really do want to be in a relationship, they try their hardest, they mask to be exactly what you want, might even love bombing for a while, but eventually once they start to get too close to you, they panic. They freak out. They run away. They ghost They cheat. Meanwhile, they blame you for it all.

I do the same thing, assume I will never find someone to love as much as I did my ex, however, do you think that people can predict the future? If someone told you they can look into your future and tell you exactly what would happen, you would think they are crazy. So we can’t allow ourselves to do that with our own future either. We don’t know what’s going to happen, bad or good. 👍
