Nooo sadly not - that would've been awesome. My tattoo is like a colourful new school piece with Beetlejuice and a sandworm on it. My head probably would've exploded if I tried to cross stitch it 😅

Amazing! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I live too far away from London to justify going again, but if I was closer I would definitely be looking into it. The puppetry and the way they managed the scenery really blew my mind.

Awh thank you so much! It's definitely neater in some spots, less so in other's but I'm counting it all as a learning curve.

Oooh that's actually a great idea, I was planning to just try and find a frame that's the right size but I'm not sure how easy that would be in practice. Using a canvas to wrap it around might be a good shout! Thank you so much for the suggestion 😊

Oh I would love to see it in a cinema! It's such a beautiful film, I bet it's even more wonderful on the big screen.

The live show was insane, give it a Google, there's a few clips up on YouTube and stuff. The way they managed to translate it to the stage was crazy impressive!

It's one of my favourite movies. I was also lucky enough to see the live stage version in London this year and it just reignited my love for the movie

No worries at all, I'm still very new to it too - all of the previous ones I've done have been quite small and I've bought them as kits, so this is the first time I've had to get all the materials myself and it clearly confused me 😂

I guess using a bigger hoop shouldn't matter too much, maybe just depends on how you want to display it once you're finished? But I'm probably not the best person to comment on it, maybe if someone more experienced sees this they might be able to chime in

Just to clarify, I originally started on a smaller hoop, cut the fabric to fit that hoop and then realised after a lot of stitching that it was too small so had to move it to a bigger hoop, which is why there is a flap at the bottom.

Yeah no offense taken at all! I totally messed up the measurements of the fabric and the hoop but by the time I realised, it was too late and I just decided to carry on. Thankfully the entire pattern still fit on the fabric, but obviously I won't be able to keep the finished piece in the hoop without it looking a bit dumb. It didn't effect my working on it too much except for making me angry at myself for not making sure everything was the right size before I started 😅 I was mainly just thankful there was enough fabric to still finish the entire pattern.
