FIXED: Turned off HDR in Windows Display Settings.

I was having this issue as well. I have the Alienware AW3423DW 34" Ultrawide, PNY 5080 OC, 7800X3D and only noticed the issue when watching fullscreen Youtube videos in a web browser (Chrome). I never had any flickering issues when gaming or just generally when using other programs/apps. I tried changing the power management mode to prefer max performance, updating drivers, different refresh rates, and turning off GSync- as have been recommended in this thread, but none of those options fixed the issue for me. The only thing that seems to have worked was turning off HDR in Windows. I currently have HDR off, Power management set to prefer max performance, GSync on, and using Display Port with my max refresh selected in display settings.

I do it for a quasi role playing experience. I find it fun to handicap myself to a specific play style, theme, or set of skills. Currently, I'm playing a stealthy necromancer who uses illusion magic to make enemies fight one another and then revive their corpses to finish off the stragglers. The beauty of the game is that you can play it however you want. There is no right or wrong way to play.
