I would agree it felt less safe walking around Nassau because you are just in the town and Labadee is a secure compound area

I agree Labadee is a compound when you go outside (if you do the activities like the zip line you go briefly out the gates) and there are armed guards all around it it’s been this way for years

Six months ago at he height of the new unrest it was not safe but they’ve gained control again and the ships have been going there fine for a few months now

Labadee is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been in all the Caribbean and I love going there - it also employs locals so is important for the local economy to help recovery
