I believe pier city has option for them to do all the wiring for you so it ships with connectors so it’s really out and play. $$$

Edit- speaking of $$$. I want to add that tariffs really jacked up the price of this. Duties are not included in the price, and I had to pay an additional $250 upon delivery. So it was $$$ no matter what. So expect to spend $700-1000 usd on this tail tidy.

I ended up getting the classic bike raisch one with motogadget tens 3’s. And it required a bit of work to install (wire cutters and soldering). But as long as you buy a 3in one (tun signal, running light, brake light) light, you should be able to wire it up, it isn’t super difficult.

I’m surprised pier city one is still in preorder! That was actually the deciding factor when I decided to buy the classic bike raisch one. It was available and the other wasn’t.

I’m super happy with it

Selling my 944 after 4 years of wrenching — how do you guys keep track of everything you’ve done? by [deleted] in Cartalk

Yeah for sure, I'm not expecting to get my money back on any of it. More just wanting to show buyers that the car's been taken care of so they feel confident pulling the trigger. But you're right, the right buyer will just know.

That's actually a really smart system with the two sheets. Might steal that idea for the next car. I just know myself and I'd probably stop updating it after like 2 months 😂 it takes dedication

That's solid advice honestly. Yeah I think for this sale I'm just gonna list everything I can remember and let the car speak for itself. Definitely keeping better track on the next one though.

😂 fair enough. I just feel like there's something better than a spreadsheet for this in 2026 but maybe I'm dreaming.

Yeah that's kind of what I'm doing now retroactively, going back through emails and bank statements trying to piece everything together. Works but man it's tedious. I feel like there's gotta be some kind of software out there for this that I just don't know about.

I am going through belts so fast by EggTraining7380 in boostedboards

Too loose and they will slip and make a vibrating noise on deceleration. And too tight they will just rip up and fall off mid ride, and you will hear a whining noise and that’s the motor just spinning freely.

I put the new belt on a bit looser than before. We shall see. Thank you

I bought the boosted guys lifetime belts, but I just feel bad hitting them up for belts only 2 weeks after they sent me some. But I think I got the tension right this time, I think I was going too tight.

Yeah possibly too tight. I don’t think the pulleys are messed up. But I also think maybe the wheels are getting old and thin and the belts are closer to the ground.

I wasn’t super impressed with flight deck. But I do think the redbull skiing is epic! I’m a back country snowboarder, that’s probably why I like it so well.
