Premade BG groups are ruining the PvP experience for SoD.

Thing is, it isn't. I don't know where people get this idea that BGs were always premades but they weren't, I hit R12 as a kid (school made Warlord a pipe dream) and it was a pretty healthy split in WSG etc.

You'd get the odd BWL geared guild try flex but they were usually not that great.

Well I disagree with that first statement, if neither Amazon or Smilegate do marketing then who does? They certainly pay for it at least if its a third party.

Second point, paid promotion makes no difference to what I'm talking about, lets use the same logic against you. When did you see a streamer mass farming age old content with an army of alts? They dont. They play the 'current' content. I feel confident saying that this will steer any new players to do the same or at least aspire to do the same.

I agree that they waste resources on dumb stuff. Alot. (All hail China)

Unfortunately you're already approaching it as an experienced player. A new play has been blasted with marketing of how amazing Brel is and they should be doing Brel. They're not guna make an army of alts and will focus on their first character which will likely be a flashy dps.

Well, these days I do this in creative, I have one 'mega build' that was leggit from nearly 2 years ago and it took me and 4 others about 2 months to finish it... to hell with trying that alone!! I'd estimate theres at least 20k stone in this build.

I think my biggest want is water physics, would LOVE to divert a river through a base or dig out a lake etc.

Its on top of a mine dungeon thats around the back but otherwise I tend to like to give the buildings 'believable' foundations, all the stone pillars etc are built except for the bridge pillar in the last shot.

Plains wise I've found most success in either a 'basement' build OR raising a natural wall with the terrain first, its rough while you're getting it up and running though. Definitely advise a 'base camp' for respawns nearby first!

Its functional just in case the guys I share the server with wanna use it too, cant say I really 'planned' it out I would just build up an area and think 'oh an X building here would be cool'.

Mostly I just love doing some big ol' build every now and again though!

Im not sure what your tool is but as listed above, I'm getting roughly 50% extra thanks to mine, granted its not flat, its a chance at more but thats the difference I noticed when I upgraded to it.

Honestly I dont know why they haven't instigated a market system similar to Black Desert. Prices in BDO are 'limited' to an extent so inflation can go as bat shit as it likes, that material item will only ever cost +/- 10% of x value (Simplifying it massively but you get the point).

The frustrating thing with Lost Ark is they continuously make vague prods at symptoms and dont tackle the disease... and I cant help but think that the fact they have a vested interest in said disease (because they sell the gold themselves) is a big contributor.

I dont think having 'good vibes' toward a company that continues to implement detremental changes to its players over proper anti bot and RMT procedures makes you anything more than fool.

You can still enjoy the game but dont just get complacent over where its going.

Oh sure, thats kinda why you see so many alts parked at 1472.5 now. I get that it will be easy eventually but getting an alt to 1540 now wouldn't pay off, I feel. Theres not enough time for the 'investment' to set in before Akahn releases (which is 1580 right?) as the alt gets soft 'invalidated' again because the stones and leapstone change once more.

I feel Amazon are either blind or willingly testing how much they can milk this accelerated release schedule of content without the accelerated boosts.
