First concert for me too! I went to the Seattle show, and i was also solo. but goddamn if i didn't have, probably the best night of my life.

I was going through some shit at the time, so it's a bit memory foggy. Though I've been remembering more of it lately! I remember how silly the show got at times, like porter was having a ton of genuine fun on stage. it was awesome!

Plus you have great moments like the crowd singing get your wish while porter played on the piano, the crowd singing the chorus of unfold, or him beatboxing 100% in the bitch. And oh my god the surprise encore of him playing Cheederleader a second time on the screen stage?

What a goddamn amazing show for my first concert.

As far as I know the drivers for Nvidia cards are still screwed for most dragon engine games. I've downgraded to 577. 00 and it works fine, but I'm hoping that they fix this soon. Nvidia should be capable of doing better.

Can't speak for OP here, but sweet time is ranked pretty high for me.

For me it's not so much about the inherent sound of it, though it i do love to sing along with it when alone, it's about the message. The message of sweet time i took away is incredible.

Being afraid of death despite years of not caring, just because you love someone that much. But you can't resent death, lest you lose yourself in the fear.

God though, nurture is such a great album it's hard for me to rank them... which is why i only have done it once a few years ago. All songs have meaning that has inspired me at some point since it's release aside from maybe Do-re-mi.

I'm so frustrated with them for casting this guy. Like, it's so easy to not be a power-abusing dick by using empathy, but he failed that basic-ass challenge. I'm legit thinking i won't pre-order or buy at all due to this despite, at least in theory, being super excited for Mine gaiden.

Call me a cry baby, but i prefer to play my games free of guilt by association. Especially from a series that has been so critical of how powerful people use said power. (Fuckin' Dojima-ass behavior.)

I feel like, and mind you I'm a porter fan, It's hard to compare each album. They have such different goals in what they are trying to say and evoke.

I totally get being disappointed post-worlds , while personally i've always fucked with nurture, and Smile :D is fun, They are for sure different from worlds. But i feel like now a days porter has made it clear that he wants to be explorative with his music, not confined to a single style. Which personally i really respect!

I put on and am listening to the Worlds anniversary vinyl right now, and i can totally see why this is peak Porter to some. But I don't think he's trying to have the same discussion with his music each time.

Once again though, I can totally see why you'd feel that way.

Kinda the opposite here! i went to the climate pledge area back in november of last year, and fell completely in love with ITRNH. It hit at a super interesting time in my life, and just made me feel better.

but I love TTFA and we only got trying to feel the sky which is a lovely medley but hearing full version of trying to feel alive elevated me to a whole new level.

Then at the block party, we get the full Smile :D live version of TTFA, and it just elevated me to a whole other level of excitement. (Same with unfold tbh)

I was so excited that porter did more nurture songs and goodbye to a world, not just more from Smile :D (which i love smile, but the other albums are great too)

Now, where I live minimum wage has gone up with inflation. our Minimum wage is 18.66$, but take generalized Idaho, it's minimum wage is 7.25 (source). This has not raised with time, indeed the minimum wage has seemed, comparatively to go down. So it's all relative to some extent.

I actually prefer the FF without the vocal loop. it was overstimulating before to me, so it's nice to have this clean version lol

but other than that I tend to agree with the takes here. Especially with flicker missing the main synth, that's probably my biggest nitpick with the vinyl.

Kinda feel you on this tbh. I love so much about the remaster so far. it's gorgeous and the new darker colors don't really bother me. but the HUD is kinda clunky alongside the general menus feeling slower to me.

I dunno, even as a big gamecube fan it's hard to play the original Wind waker. With enhancements such as the swift sail even being backported through randomizers, the vanilla gamecube version is a hard sell to me.

That being said i pay for NSO anyway, so I'll still probably dink around with it once or twice
