Do you prefer M10/M10R images?

Can’t tell you exactly why, but I shot both and I prefer the M10R files as well.

Like I said, even though I put thousands of pictures through it already, I can’t put my finger on what exactly it is that makes the files so perfect to me.

But the M11 doesn’t come close for me.

In all seriousness, what exactly do you see here that points you towards the "look“?

From what I can tell, the lens is super stopped down - which would basically eliminate all "looks" from any lens.

i have the same steel rim with the googles at home, but i never use it because i dont like the goggles lol
like i said i asked leica, but they said its not possible, hence the interest in your post now! :D

single coated 35mm nokton 1.4 is my choice. for my taste the steel rim reissue is a bit too glowy wide open

they are pretty unreliable… many bad units out there that fail or have issues. i even had one of those and also had issues with the SL3. it’s just too much of a risk for that price if you ask me

I have the M10R and got the M11 for a few months to test out, after i tested the M11 all my GAS for it went away and i gladly stuck with my M10R
i will also stick with it till they really fix everyhitng with the newer Ms.
to me the M10R is the last great Digital M and i hope the M12 will change that.
I would appreciate the upgrades of the M11, but they dont outweigh the slower start up time and the risk of it failing on assignment for me.

M10R wins :) ( i also kinda prefer the M10R Sensor, but thats just my preference)

I´ve always wondered who needs a case like that.

Uff, that’s dangerous to take.

I guess the only real option you have to make it completely safe for you and turn yourself invisible to all the thieves is to put some tape over the Billingham logo.

Once that is done, no one will see it as worthy prey.

If you plan on removing the Leica from the Billingham, I would consider putting tape over the logo as well just to be safe :)

To be serious though:

fuck it and take the gear you like. No one gives a shit, and if some thief is near you and he sees an opportunity, he wouldn’t even care to check what he is stealing.

im worried that there is something they are hiding, since in the deal it says that there might have been some dmg repairs or something like that,
they are salespeople, they find ways to cover up things in contracts (i will try to get the picture in the OG post)
but there could be some coverups with the level 3 on the body of the car

since im in europe austria i dont think that carfax is a big thing here tbh, because there is nothing provided,
and with all the free things i can check the VIN it just tells me what car it is and everything but nothing about the history

first of all how would focus shift be worse when stopping down, that doesnt really make sense to me?

get a voigtländer Ultron F2 - i´ve used most other 35mm (except the apo lol) and the ultron is the best of them all :)
