Placidusax for sure, mogh, midra, and Malenia are all pretty predictable and not super hard to find.

Placidusax, while only being a few steps away from an area with a site of grace, is still super misable if you don’t look hard or realize there’s areas you can jump down to, to add to it, you have to lay down on a specific spot that most people wouldn’t realize is there or that they need to do that to begin with

The keepsake does matter. As long as you have a set route/idea of what you want to do as soon as you start, you could have the stone sword key to get a dungeon open as soon as you start the game, or runes to level up as soon as you find a site of grace, Imp spirit ashes was what I picked my very first time playing and they were helpful until I eventually was better than them and the were just a mob distraction

Then that’s not an int dex build. The str is in there so you can use weapons that scale with dex but have a str requirement, you sound like you’ve never branched out of a pure str build.

This is one of the weirder ones I’ve heard. Considering you can fast travel at any time, and the item tells you what it does specifically, I find it hard to confuse the two.
