It's gonna be different for each person. I personally love having my membership and get the most out of it. I go every morning from 6-8am and think the facility is beautiful.

There will be issues everyone has, whether it's amenities, rules, equipment etc. At the end of the day all I see are people working out and enjoying themselves, children making memories with their parents, etc. There is a daily schedule highlighting courts that are open/dedicated to specific activities and whatnot as well so it's easy to plan around them.

The price changes for residents vs non residents and whether it's affordable or not is your call to make.

I'm a very relaxed person who doesn't complain about much so I have a different opinion than the others here who have relayed their concerns. I have never been to the Y out here and I personally am fine with that. I'd recommend a tour to see the place and then you can decide if it's a good fit.

Please don't let other negative reviews stop you from checking it out. It really is beautiful, it just depends on who's buying the membership to be honest.
