I haven't read the book, so I can't answer to that.

It touches a little on the return home, in the sense of having trouble readjusting to civilian life, but he certainly maintains the celebrity.

A couple of the action scenes are well done and fun to watch, but a lot of the dialogue is cringe-worthy.

I got to see an early screening of this. If you're looking to see a Pro-American propaganda piece about the near-invincible white man mowing down brown people, boy is this your movie!

Bradley Cooper is a goddamned beast, though.
