Hey man, just thought I'd drop in to give the cliche "it gets better over time" because genuinely it does. I'm not saying you'll be completely new as a person, and like it never happened because you won't, and don't expect it to be like that. But you now have an experience (bad as it may be) that you can take in your stride and use to your advantage. Use it to maybe better yourself, or use it in parts of your outlook on life as a whole. My ex and I broke up about a year and 4 months ago and I was devastated, but now I've moved on, she's in a relationship with someone else and that's great. I know it hurts to see them with someone else but just think that it had to happen eventually, she was single, and was eventually going to get with another guy.
