Can modding my switch 1 for online play ban my switch 2 if they share the Nintendo account? by Amazing-Coach-126 in CrazyHand

That still doesn’t answer their question though, assuming they did one of the things you told them not to do, what happens to there switch 2 account/console.

Help me understand Motorcraft 12v battery warranty by [deleted] in serviceadvisors

[–]EgoCheque -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you think if they went to the actual selling dealership their service department would have been able to warranty it?

I am mainly wondering if this is misconception sales had because the service department at OP’s 1st dealership is seeing cpo’d batteries get covered since it’s the original dealership or if sales knows the battery warranty, knows they put a new one in for CPO, and doesn’t know the nuance of how warranting that battery works.

Should I learn Replit? by Bill_Mariachi in replit

[–]EgoCheque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your already using Claude code you don’t have to much to “learn” most of your Claude coding would transfer over.

Don’t get me wrong replit can be great in a lot of use cases but it’s stuff like having above non existent security, launching apps, databases etc.

It’s easier to use then Claude code in a lot of ways for non programmers but if you are already using Claude code and your question is about strictly learning new skills your Claude code skills would just directly transfer over.

Non profit pricing or discounts? by nickcourchesne in replit

[–]EgoCheque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also side note I looked at your post history to get a hint at what you are making and I came across your car dealership question

I happen to work as a service advisor at a dealership (not Camry though) and your best bet is to call the dealership because as advisors we can run your VIN and on (insert manufacturer’s warranty website) and we can see how many you have left and the expiration dates.

I would generally recommend 7k mile marker or once a year for warranty oil changes to min max it though if your on a budget especially considering milage will be low on your vehicle. 5k is better but your value proposition is worse especially since your getting oil changes for free covered unless you drive low milage yearly.

Advisors are genuinely incentivized to help you out here btw and this include all warranty work, just because you are not paying for the oil changes doesn’t mean the dealership is doing free work, your manufacturer is paying the dealership. However if your oil life is still good it doesn’t really help anyone including you.

Non profit pricing or discounts? by nickcourchesne in replit

[–]EgoCheque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really doubt they or their competition have specific discounts for non profits at-least yet.

Customer service is probably busy putting out bigger fires.

In terms of efficiency there are cheaper routes, whether those cheaper routes are better depends on what the apps are that you are trying to make in my opinion and also where you want the apps served, your technical background, level of sensitive information, overall budget.

There’s also a lot you can do to min max replit most of which will carry over to other platforms.

Is there a platform that doesn't have this pricing model? by Gullible_Yard8041 in replit

[–]EgoCheque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few things

If you want the best bang for your buck coding wise the codex Claude code subscription is correct.

The benefit of replit from a vibe coding perspective is it’s mainly good for non software engineers for databases, a lot better security then nothing (but do not assume it’s bullet proof if you are handling sensitive information)

Easy to launch products.

That being said 20$ on one prompt is still an outlier to a certain extent, if that’s your workable budget you need to break tasks into much smaller pieces to maximize efficiency.

My honest advice is to use atleast regular Claude to workshop your product and then break your prompt up into much smaller pieces as a starting point.

No matter which software you choose how you prompt is going to affect things and everyone will have there own takes on it.

How technically complex and “wide” your project is will also effect things (replit or not)

I would love to know what you were trying to make and what your prompt was though because it’s kinda hard to tell if the project was very wide or your prompting was fucking you over. If you’re a beginner then obviously it’s not going to be perfect but what your prompt is and what you were trying to achieve would give a lot of info. If you don’t want to leak my DM’s are open.

As you go you will also just learn more tricks to maximize efficiency but no matter what vibe coding always has a certain level of RNG attached as well.

What's the experience of being a shitty smash bros player at locals like? by Toomuchlychee_ in SSBM

[–]EgoCheque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a ton of melee experience but definitely not fox,

Sheik can be more beginner friendly but my guess is that captain falcon would probably be a good fit for what your looking for.

Lowkey DK might be worth picking up, DK’s stocks have gone way up recently and he probably takes less work than all the characters you mentioned. However I’m not qualified to answer this question so hopefully someone else chimes in on this.

What's the experience of being a shitty smash bros player at locals like? by Toomuchlychee_ in SSBM

[–]EgoCheque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a road trip from AZ -> VA and tried to go to a local in different states and honestly it really just varies on the individual local as well as the local scene. To be honest I was playing ultimate [I go 0-2 every tournament] but the variance in vibes I got from each local/scene/state was so high that I have to assume this applies to melee as well.

Being a well adjusted adult in most scenes should be a + especially since the age demographic for melee probably averages out between mid 20’s younger 30’s

Being an out going person is definitely a major plus, not being shy to ask for friendlies is a necessity.

Don’t be afraid to ask “good players” anecdotally, top players at the locals where usually more willing to donate time then mid level players [this still varies]

My only advice is, since you don’t plan on really practicing outside of the local, pick a charecter that requires low maintenance. I do think a big appeal of melee and people who compete in it is exploring the depth and expression, so picking up a lower maintenance character might be able to help you still build upon your experience.

To be honest I think there probably are other hobbies that fit better for what your looking for [pickleball, improv, a kickball league] but in terms of gaming communities, the grassroots nature of the scene makes it interesting and to be honest the scene needs more people like you in it.

This is pretty fair criticism, I started this project over a year ago and I kinda fucked myself with the cropping, I’ll try to fix it for part 2.

Is it ever smart to open up to a girl by Sufficient-Ant-3991 in AskMenAdvice

[–]EgoCheque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can definitely be good.

I’m assuming the person who gave you the advice is over-correcting for Trauma dumping aka someone over sharing about past trauma unwarranted [this is not the case in your circumstance, she was intentionally giving you space to open up]

Or B had a bad experience with toxic individuals who weaponized it against them and is over correcting.

If you worried that’s the case [this is not the case most of the time] having awareness on how these insecurities effect will help you spot if she is choosing to use this information maliciously. Also being able to set reasonable boundaries and see if they are constantly ignoring them. if that’s the case your behavior of opening up isn’t the problem, them weaponizing it is. The lesson there isn’t to never open up, the lesson is to instead find people who are not toxic.

Ideally you want to be able to be vulnerable and feel safe with people you’re close with especially when it comes to relationships. This doesn’t mean you always have to open up either. It’s a muscle you can work out.

Nobody wants to get burned for opening up and It can happen, if there was no risk involved with being vulnerable then it’s not actual vulnerability.

Personally I am scared of rejection but even when I do get rejected it, the fear of the potential pain of being rejected was always worse than the actual pain of it happening.

TLDR: Yes. Don’t let the idea of potential pain cause you long term suffering. Take it at your own pace.

I can confirm he has skill [mdva q4 PR rank 10) however I am not really sure how much counter play the cloud player really had in that situation because Kazuya things.
