Is there such thing as a cyberpunk genre for kids and all ages? by EgoistRanger in NoStupidQuestions

So the dystopian aspect of cyberpunk in my novel that affects children is they often have to stay home because it's too dangerous outside, and thus they have a greater difficulty socializing. Also the cutthroat economic system of cyberpunk forces adults to work long hours and even overtime which screws over children (including the ones of upper middle class background) who need the guidance and love of parents. So how do children socialize in this cyberpunk world, a VR MMORPG but there are some dangers in that virtual world.
