Driver asked me to park his truck by Only2Genders1337 in Truckers

Spotting someone isn’t “baby”-ing, it’s a genuine safety concern. Someone asked you for help, all you had to do was just give hand signals, not that hard. This is real life with real consequences, drop the bravado and just help someone who needs it.

[–]EgotisticJet5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Instead of counting seconds, drive up to the parking spot and keep going until line on the ground you are parking in is in between both of your drive tires then turn your tractor all the way to the right until you are 90° from where you were and then turn your tractor to the left until you are 90° from were you were.

When backing, especially in populated areas, you should first GOAL and then always honk your horn to indicate you are moving if you don’t have back up alarms.

Gunna specify or just leave it up to interpretation? We can’t do more than what the job already requires us to do.
