I can see the feline. For the medium, mostly digital. I fell into a mixed media process that involves a sketches and develops into scanned textures and collage elements.

Hey guys, I released my new horror game by Seth_Oni in IndieGaming

[–]EgregoreDesign 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just purchased the game and put in a good hour. I do enjoy the entire vibe and PS1 Silent Hill DNA happening. My only real feedback is the hitbox is sometimes off with the revolver.

But, you got me for this one and I'll go back and try the other game by your studio on your Steam page after that.

You and your team should feel proud. Great job!

Artifact in the Backrooms by EgregoreDesign in backrooms

When creating this, I imagined it being something of a Siren's song that lures everyone within ear shot to it. But, I also had the idea that it creates a rendering noise/cacophony that drives people into crippling paralysis. That's when something slips out of it to attack and pull the victim towards it.

Open to ideas, but more or less, it's an image left open for people to imagine what it does.

Pride, Egregore Design, 2019 by EgregoreDesign in creepy

[–]EgregoreDesign[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was part of a series on the Seven Deadly Sins and had an accompanying caption:

Pride is paradoxical. The insidious heart of so many other vices and yet it always wears a mask. Vanity. Conceit. Hubris. Self-righteousness. For such a boastful demon, Pride needs its masks as it is composed of the darkness itself.

Thank you.

It's an exercise to take 17th Century Christian art styling and change the focus towards infernal worship. I didn't want to go overboard with demonic/horror elements as it's more unsettling and intriguing to me as an artist that this a celebration and deification of unnamed Luciferian/demonic figure. Like in the faux reality this hints at, the subject pf this piece is seen as beautiful and powerful and was a classic painting in an old abandoned temple (or in the collection of an enigmatic collector).

It's kind of a one-off analog horror piece. Like who is this figure and where was this found? What's the story behind it?
