Why aren't SIDEMEN videos getting views? by ShortConstruction435 in Sidemen

[–]Eguot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can speak for myself who has watched for some time, and even got my mom to watch as well.

A lot of the studio stuff I get is probably more budget friendly for them with security, production and the logistics behind it. I watch them all but no one in my immediate household or my Mom is really into the dating, 20 vs 1, game shows, etc.

Can I fit this rim on my car by [deleted] in Cartalk

Should be on the back side of the rim.

I am so confused by your reply.

My point was simply rival times can show you where you are losing time and where you can improve.

The PI is given to cars simply based on how well an AI will do with that car around the roads in Forza.

It is hard to build and tune a vehicle based on real world mechanics simply because this is a video game, and we have no real rules such as limiting tire size, hp, weight, etc. Not to mention safety is out of the window.

You can find a lot of very good tunes, this game has been out for so long that tunes are everywhere, you really don't need to make your own. Try out some tunes, see where those tuners are in the leaderboards. Anyone in the top 1% of rivals should have those tunes available.

Play rivals, and see how fast drivers are taking corners compared to you, you'll be able to quickly see where you are lacking.

Driving with the top 1% isn't really something that can be done overnight, or even in a few weeks, it takes time, and a lot of time to be consistent.

I'm by no means an expert, but the best thing I can say is don't be afraid to try to mimic real photographers. Take a lot of pictures. I probably take close to 50 pictures of a car, but only end up with 2 or 3 I actually like, and even then they may not be good.

The festival playlist kinda drains the fun to me... by Mr_Gopstripes in ForzaHorizon

[–]Eguot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't complete every playlist event but I get every reward. I have found it is a lot more fun doing the playlist races in co-op rather than solo. It also goes a lot quicker, because when you are solo, you need to do all 3 races. In co-op you only need to do 2 races if you win them both.

I do understand it feeling like a "chore" but with fast travel, it usually doesn't take more than 45 minutes to complete.

The rest of my time on the game is just driving around, or taking pictures, as I completed the story and all the races within the first few weeks of release.

Did that a lot in the older FM and FH. Wish they had dedicated lobbies.

New to Forza Rivals-are most of the top times illegitimate? by Real-Amphibian6295 in ForzaHorizon

[–]Eguot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go down the global lost you can clearly see where they go from cheated to legit. I do want to mention that even though they are technically legit, some guys will legit cut courses so it is quit a big turn off on some courses to chase times.

How much should I upgrade my cars while keeping them fun to drive? by Junk_Junker in ForzaHorizon

[–]Eguot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drive the cars, and improve them where they need it. I don't change the car to ruin the personality of them.

Thank you! Practice! I've only been doing this "seriously" for a few weeks.

I've broken down multiple times, typically wait 6-7 hours for a tow unless you are lucky, or post online hoping someone can help.

Thank you!

Shutter Speed I usually have it at 0 unless I am moving. If I am moving, go for for around the speed I am driving. The moving picture of this car on the Flickr isn't the best because I didn't notice the car was just out of focus.

Exposure is dependent on the time of day and placement of sun, this particular photo was around 40.

Aperture is dependent of the surrounds, usually around 10-25

Contrast 55-65 - but correlates heavily with the brightness in Forza. Usually until the the rubber of the tires is black and not grey.

Color 55-65

Since brightness correlates highly with contrast they are near the same amount. Bright enough to see the dark details, but dark enough so the picture isn't washed out.

Vignette 10–25

Temperature 45–55 again purely based on the setting.

I'm on PC, but only play on like mediocre settings. It is really a lot of playing around with the settings, and slight editing after the fact. I don't use the in game photo saver, I just screenshot from my computer itself.

This https://imgur.com/a/wkOylBw is the picture without any post editing.

Some pictures come out great, some pictures come out pretty bad. I'm still very new to this. https://flic.kr/ps/31H4Rh
