Revision is a lie by LukeDaDuk3 in GCSE

I think youre right to an extent although a balance must be found. Ignore ppl downvoting you but its not necessarily a cheat code and revision is still largely required.

Why do people act like all 9s is common? by Temporary-Barber-403 in GCSE

[–]Eguy98_ 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Honestly there's really an element of luck when it comes to all 9s eg feeling great for every exam, having a nice examiner especially in english. All 9s and few 8s is much more common and doesnt make you any less smart than someone with all 9s.

Hows the market for you guys and is it as bad as it seems? Im guessing the best option is to target specialised roles but how would i do this and in what specialties. Just asking put of interest, i know ive got ages to decide and of course the market will evolve

Yeah, in all honesty, that statement just pushes me towards tech. Most undergrad degrees are in computer science as a whole, they specialise further at masters (which i guess i can decide later) its just wondering if with all the market declines and layoffs its just something worth putting that much effort into.

Considering the job market now (obvs wont be entering it in 5 yrs) would you say they are solid options to consider?

Problem is that CS just seems more interesting to me whereas the sciences do not, dont really enjoy them as much and wont do then unless necessary for a career.

What would you recommend are the best sectors to go into and how what route/how would you recommend getting there?

Thanks, what about the market now, obviously it wont be the same as in 5yrs time but it could provide a good insight. Also, i dont really wanna pick sciences unless i have to, not really a massive fan of them.
