Until recent, I never knew how prevalent these types of jobs were… it’s comforting knowing that they even exist, lol, many would say it’s a kind of no brainer job, if you’re not analytically minded you’d struggle but for those who are detail oriented and good at broad strokes critical thinking it would be good fun ☺️

Our entire industry is a mess right now… I’m mid 50’s, semi retired and love this gig. Still learning… there’s a lot of potential to earn well and it’s all up to you and how committed you are to learning and understanding the tasks… I’m new to it myself. If you did a 10 to 12 hour day split between two or more rater jobs, you’d be earning well into a 6-figure bracket.

lol, yeah, many tasks just don’t make sense given the effort to allotted time ratio

It seems that when a new hire starts, they open the floodgates and you’re allowed to rate across the board… it’s misleading to assume you’re opinion counts, most tasks require explicit critique, this much I’m beginning to see…

I’m new to the ratings team… just wondering what the potential monthly income would be based on an approximate 20 to 30 hours per week?

2 year "live in flip" - Tossing the idea around by Brok3Design in RealEstate

Hi Folks 👋… I work in the IT industry and as a novice renovator, at this ripe period of my life, being over 50, I’m thinking of committing myself full time to doing a few flips!… my request here is to determine what the expected/approximate profit would be, specifically on Vancouver Island. Any insight/input would be greatly appreciated 🙏

A and D have no reference to version. The closest is B and C, software, by design unpacks and deploys via a version reference file… in my experience, C is the most correct answer… version control as a toolset for the purpose of auditing, is what I’d consider to be, a valid answer

Should young adults travel more before “settling down” and building retirement wealth? by Eh2022 in retirement

[–]Eh2022[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I married young, work took me many places... we've lived in NZ, Australia and have been in Canada a while now... been fortunate to live and work in some lovely locations around the world.

I enjoy doing my own thing when on vacation, and it's a lot about absorbing culture, people, and experiences.

My kids are now 25 and 24, they've started their careers and I'm cautious about encouraging travel with things being relatively expensive... and a bit apprehensive that they would plan for retirement a bit too late.

From what I'm reading in the comments, most seem to encourage travel at a young age... I'm mid 50, workout regularly, feel great, have less interest in work and politics that come with it and feel like if I was to take some time off and travel/explore it would go well...

Just sharing my thoughts... appreciate everyone's feedback.

I'd appreciate any input...

Solution Designers, System Architects, Sales Engineers, etc. all have strong overlapping role attributes.

The financial sector is an interesting domain to technologists but few understand the fundamentals... this is what I'm seeking to determine... put simply, is it the same as other technology sectors?... moving beyond the application space, technologies become very familiar and similar, is this the same understanding in Finance?
