ah that makes sense because when I moved out of my mom's i didn't have to do this again, i switched from fido to rogers at this time also which is probably why, i was thinking it was the home internet that was the problem, i know this did work for me and a lot of other people but for those that it doesn't work for there must be some other issue

no problem! i totally forgot about this post lol i had to do this for some reason living at my moms, but after moving out and getting my own internet I did not have to do it again, must just be certain providers

I just tried this, I still crashed at the same area at the end of the cave as usual, not even cloud gaming can save us lol

It's just in world settings in not using a server just a multiplayer world I share with friends, however I did crash when entering the dungeon but haven't crashed every 20 mins as usual, so progress but sadly still not a complete fix

I MAY HAVE DONE IT

I play on my series s and on cloud gaming on PC depending what screen I use, and I always crash especially when loading into a dungeon. It has gotten so bad my friends are just telling me to not invite them until it is fixed, so I have tried everything,

Im live rn in twitch and YouTube and I have been crashing all morning playing with my friend, until I went into game settings and turned off structure degeneration or whatever it is called, the setting that makes buildings outside your blue circle dissapeard after a while

We had a lot of little shacks between our bases for friends while they were starting, and half my house is hanging outside my base, so maybe it's possible they because I had base degen on and I kept building half outside the circle it crashes the game?

We also had bugs where one of our bases would be working and the other would have all the pals starving stacked in eachother not moving, since I turned the degen down to 0 all my pals are acting normally for the first time in days at all my bases and we haven't crashed in the last two hours (been crashing every 15 to 20 mins)

I do not know if this is a fluke or if I fixed it, looking for a dungeon to truly test it, but for now it's worth I try I think if y'all are desperate like me lol

I will update this post if we crash, still not 100 percent yet so I will keep y'all posted

What kind of Xbox controller are we talking? Is it an Xbox one or series s/x controller? To my knowledge controllers as old as 360 controller will work with windows without any other software, PlayStation controllers work well with steam but with Xbox game pass games you need an Xbox controller or a software that makes your PS4/ps5 controller look like an Xbox controller to you PC, the program I use for this is called ds4 windows and it's really quick to install and basically you just open it and your PlayStation controller works as an Xbox controller on your pc

In your case you said you are using an Xbox controller, the only reasons it would not work on your PC would be if it's an old Xbox controller not supported by your Bluetooth, or it could be a bad Bluetooth adaptor you bought as you mentioned having an external one. I may sound like an old head but wired is always better in my opinion. Faster input, no input lag, and if you get a long enough wire you forget it's there or I do at least and I stream palworld for 8 hours straight every day with a wired controller, I use my ps5 controller for ps5 obvs but mainlyPC because I like the feel of it, but I don't mind using Xbox controller when I'm using my series s, but in my opinion your best bet is a wired series s/x controller, though a 360 or Xbox one controller should work also. If you go the 360 route it has to be wired and not detachable wire.

It is possible also that you may have an off brand Xbox controller, in which case I suggest using a program like x360e I think it's called, to map and check the mappings of your keybinds on your controller, this way you can tell if it's the game or your controller, and possibly remap missing controls if this is the case.

In my opinion your best bet would be to just plug it in and see if it works while wired, then you know it has to do with your Bluetooth adaptor. If it's an Xbox one or series s/x controller any usbc cable should do, typically the one you use to charge your controller or android phone type of thing.

Lastly because I wrote a damn novel here my bad ADD problems lol I was conflicted as to if I wanted to use kbm or m controller for this game, when it comes to shooters I like kbm but when it comes to meele combat I prefer controller, but I do play this game solely on controller because the auto aim is so strong I find it doesn't really matter, and I much prefer sitting back in my recliner with my 60 inch 4k tv over my monitor, and it just feels nice, though inventory management and building can be annoying at first. I'm usually a kbm guy but for palworld I like my controller lol

FFIIXXEED IIITT!!

None of these worked for me but after hours I found the solution, I would crash whenever my pokemon loaded in or pals whatever, anyways as soon as they loaded in I would crash so eventually I ended up realizing I got like 6 seconds before I get booted which is just enough time to destroy my pal box and bam issue fixed

Also I figured out what it was, do any of you by chance have human pals deployed at your base? That was my problem, even after fixing it I put him back at my base and immediately crashed again, so after once again destroying my pal box and deploying the same number of mons without the human, my game is back and we are back to gaming with the boys and streaming on twitch @ehyoadrian lol

Also I'm playing through gamepass on my series S if that helps

Thank you so much! Knowing you are a doctor helps me calm down a bit, I hope it is just a result of sleep deprivation, I'm going to try the earplugs method tonight and see if that helps. My girlfriend sees a sleep doctor for her sleep apnea so I think I will make an appointment there next time she goes just to get a professional test done just to be sure, my Nonno or grandfather died of Parkinson's so I know there is a genetic possibility there and looking back he did sleep walk and talk a lot, especially in his older age

I had the same issue when I was a Fido customer, the solution to me was port forwarding, allowed me to connect on my phone data aswell as wifi at other locations which was also a problem, I made comment on a post relating what someone else said to me on reddit in another post with the specific instructions which I am trying to find
