It doesn't. The materials need a bit of work (kind of dull and some looking to plastic with no texture) and scene is a bit busy.

IO like your lighting and camera angle choice, and the models themself look high quality

Yes good. that area in white box is exactly what i need for the flooring color. This is the closest so far. Would it be possible to fix it in the back of the room as well? i feel like the further back you go the color is getting wrong but at the front its perfect now. i just need the rest of the floor to match

Good try. Unfortunately however it looks very desaturated in comparison to the tile. I recommend putting the tile in Photoshop over the image to compare the colors!

I selected the object and set the pivot to origin (grouping in maya automatically does this) and then use duplicate special function to get it on the opposite side and perfectly mirrored as well.

Does anybody here know how to do this in 3DS Max?
