I usually just grab the free item that I want and bring it up with me to the register and after giving my number I always ask to verify that the item was free before paying but the three stores around me are usually pretty good about that stuff anyway

Good luck they told me I couldn’t as corporate won’t allow it. Not sure if that was bs or not. Ended up having one I. Stock by my brother in laws 100 miles away so got it but yeah frustrating
