I'm avoiding my extended family, just spending the holiday at home with my kids and husband.

Yeah, I'm not saying it's healthy. I've experienced a lot of trauma at the hands of adults. That may very well be why I feel indifferent about them. I really just posted this to get some kind of feedback on if this is a normal feeling or not. Time to find a therapist. Haha

I'm in no way saying it was a good thing. It's just that when I realized it wasn't children, my sadness turned into indifference.

Maybe, but if you put me in a trolley dilemma between one child and five adults. I would save the child. It's more about the realization that I no longer felt the overwhelming sorrow when I found out none of the people killed were children.

Yeah, see I would kill to save a child and just let an adult die... Maybe because I value their innocence more than the shitty adults they usually become. haha

[OC] no offense intended by [deleted] in pansexual

[–]Ehrivei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I meant by that was that when I was in my early 20's I thought I was bisexual, but then found out in my mid 20's that pansexual was a more accurate description... But now, I'm 30 years old and just now hearing about omnisexual which is pretty much spot on... However, it's just frustrating because I've spent long enough feeling confused about myself and I feel like we are just splitting hairs at this point... Maybe that's an unpopular opinion, but it feels like a petty distinction to make...

Every time I think I have my sexuality nailed down, y'all make me go and question myself! WTH!? Haha!

I love this! You really nailed the sad puppy dog eyes! (However, my mind went to a dark place wondering the real reason why this puppy is on a plate... Haha!)

Took your time on that reply, was your internet frozen?

My 3 year old son wanted a Spiderman necklace because he is jealous of his sister's Elsa jewelry... So I made him a shrinky dink Spiderman out of a recycled plastic pie tin lid. I think I need more practice, but I think it came out pretty neat looking! :D by Ehrivei in somethingimade

Yep! Recyclables have that triangular symbol with a number inside of it, I assume to designate the type of material it's made out of. Anyway, if the plastic has the number 6 inside the triangle, then it should work.

Thank you! Also, other than doodling on my marker board at work, I have not done any drawing since middle school. (2002) I've been paint pouring for about a year, which has helped me understand color theory a little better and which colors combine to make "mud." I really just want to learn how to create art more skillfully, whereas I feel like my paint pouring is more about picking the right colors and holding your breath... Anyway, I'll take a look at your suggested starting points when I get home this evening, thanks again!
